We have been catching up with an old, good , and true friend----REST! And boy, have I missed that beautiful and underrated friend! Its definitely something different knowing that we don't need to begin packing clothes for a weeks stay at the hospital. Or that we don't need to prep the kids on what days we will be here, and give them a basic run down of what to expect that week. The truth of the matter is that I can go on and on for all of the things that I am happy that we no longer need to do....So I will keep this simple. We are in a Thankful transition into life without chemo, hospital stays, or being absent from each other. Bre is on her last few days of isolation, so we are looking forward to eventually going to a Grocery store, a restaurant, a mall...Any public place without being overly cautious. Not that we plan to do a world tour of all things public, but Bre is certainly looking forward to walking anywhere in public and not needing to wear the surgical mask. Life is Beautiful!
